Join me in my first ever Stitch for a Cause! Proceeds from this pattern will go to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation to help drive research, provide care and community, and advocate for patients' rights throughout their journey.
I told myself that if my work ever made an appearance at market, I would have a piece dedicated to my late grandmother. While I thought I would have more time to prepare for this, it is a fitting first submission to what will be my ongoing "Stitch for a Cause" collection.
Her battle was the same that many women and men in our community face - and it is just that. It's the fight to hold on and remain strong for those who support you. To trust the process and believe that you will overcome.
While this one was designed for her, it is not untrue for any difficult time we face - in health or in life. When you need a little reminder, turn to this message and carry on. Hope will get you through.
I stitched the piece on 40 count Dolomite by Fiber on a Whim and her finished size is about 4" by 6.2" making it a good fit for a standard frame.
The printed pattern is now shipping, so ask your LNS or ONS to find it for you through Hoffman Distributing or here on my wholesale shop.
